Looking for a Pool Home Near Tarpon Springs? Take a Look at 1419 Blue Marlin Blvd

Looking for a 4-bedroom pool home near Tarpon Springs with privacy, plenty of space, and some of the big-ticketupdates already handled?

1419 Blue Marlin Blvd in Holiday checks a surprising number of those boxes. This Gulfwinds home offers 4 bedrooms plus a den, 3 full baths, 2,480 square feet, a screened saltwater pool, and no rear neighbors.

And the location puts you just minutes from waterfront dining and the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks.

First, Let’s Talk About the Backyard

Because if you’re shopping for a Florida home with a pool, you’re probably going to look at the backyard before you care about my thoughts on the dining room.

This one delivers.

The screened saltwater pool has a large covered lanai with room for outdoor dining and lounging, plus plenty of open pool deck when you actually want the sunshine.

But one of my favorite features is what’s not behind the pool: another house.

There are no rear neighbors.

That gives the backyard a level of privacy you don’t always find in a neighborhood setting—especially compared with homes where one pool cage looks directly into the next.

There’s also fenced outdoor space with pet-safe turf, giving your four-legged family members room to roam without adding another patch of Florida grass to your maintenance list.

4 Bedrooms + a Den Makes a Difference

At 2,480 square feet, this isn’t a house where the fourth “bedroom” has to double as the office.

You actually get 4 bedrooms plus a separate den.

The single-story, split-bedroom floor plan gives the primary suite separation from the secondary bedrooms, while the den provides dedicated space for an office, study, workout room, or whatever else your household needs.

There are also 3 full bathrooms, which becomes increasingly valuable when you have overnight guests or multiple people trying to get out the door at the same time.

Separate living and dining areas give you even more flexibility. You don’t have to use every room exactly the way the builder originally intended.

That’s one of the things I like about this floor plan—it gives you room to decide how you want to live in it.

The Kitchen Is Actually Connected to the House

The spacious kitchen opens directly to the family room, with a breakfast bar connecting the two spaces.

Translation: whoever is cooking isn’t banished to another room while everyone else is hanging out.

There’s generous cabinetry, plenty of counter space, stainless appliances, and a window over the sink bringing additional natural light into the room.

And because there are separate living and dining spaces elsewhere in the house, the kitchen and family room can function as the relaxed everyday center of the home.

Some of the Expensive Stuff Is Already Done

Pretty countertops are fun.

A new roof is considerably less glamorous—but when you’re buying a Florida house, it may make you much happier.

Several of the significant items at 1419 Blue Marlin have already been addressed:

  • New roof — 2026
  • New water heater — 2026
  • Brand-new water softener
  • A/C replaced — 2018

Does that mean you’ll never spend money maintaining the house? Of course not. It’s a house.

But knowing when major systems were replaced gives you useful information when you’re comparing this property with other homes in the same price range.

Gulfwinds Gives You More Than Just the House

1419 Blue Marlin Blvd is located in Gulfwinds in Holiday, Florida.

The community offers a community pool, sidewalks winding throughout the neighborhood, and community ponds, giving you amenities beyond your own backyard.

Yes, you have your own pool and a community pool.

Options are good.

The sidewalks and ponds are also a nice bonus if you’re someone who actually likes an evening walk—or keeps saying you’re going to become someone who likes an evening walk.

The Location May Surprise You

The Holiday address doesn’t tell the whole story.

This home puts you approximately 3 minutes from waterfront dining and about 5 minutes from the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks, depending on traffic and exactly where you’re headed.

That means restaurants, shops, the waterfront, and one of the area’s most recognizable destinations are practically in your backyard.

So while your mailing address says Holiday, the Tarpon Springs lifestyle is right next door.

What I Think Buyers Should Compare

If you’re considering 1419 Blue Marlin against other homes in the area, don’t compare them based solely on bedroom count and square footage.

Look at what you’re actually getting.

Does the competing home have a pool?

Is it saltwater?

Is there covered outdoor living space?

What’s behind the house?

How old is the roof?

Is there a separate office, or are you sacrificing a bedroom to create one?

Are there two bathrooms or three?

And how close are you really to the places you’ll actually use?

Those differences don’t always jump out when you’re scrolling through listings at 10:30 at night, but they can make a pretty big difference once you live there.

For me, the combination that stands out at 1419 Blue Marlin Blvd is pretty simple:

4 bedrooms + den. 3 full baths. 2,480 square feet. Saltwater pool. No rear neighbors. New 2026 roof. And Tarpon Springs practically next door.

That’s a lot of boxes checked in one house.
