Largo

Largo is the fourth largest city in Pinellas County, Florida. Centrally located, it is the crossroads of the county. From downtown, it’s just a short walk to Largo Central Park, known for its frequent festivals, music and plays. Kids can ride the miniature train around the park on the first full weekend of every month. Located adjacent to the park, the Largo Cultural Center offers a unique venue for special events, as well as a diverse year-round entertainment schedule that includes its very own Eight O’ Clock Theatre with five live performances of Broadway, off-Broadway and original productions each year.

If you’re curious about Florida history, head to Pinewood Cultural Park’s Heritage Village, a perennial favorite with visitors and residents. This 21-acre, open-air museum features 28 historical structures—some dating back to the 19th century. Other attractions include the amazing Florida Botanical Gardens, John S. Taylor Park and a handful of great golf courses (Bardmoor Golf & Country Club is a Largo favorite).
